Rare/Special Titan Hero Series Action Figures

On my quest to collect all these figures for my superhero-obsessed boy (or am I obsessed? I’m not sure), I hit problems getting some of the more rare Titan Hero Series figures. All of these are no longer in production.

Tech Series

For the two movies Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Age of Ultron, Hasbro released a special set of figures that could communicate with each other. They basically have a Power FX built-in, and if the chest button is pressed, a nearby figure in the same set will automatically respond.

The extra difficulty in these specific figures is that it seems Hasbro has abandoned this technology in favor of the Power Pack FX approach.

Avengers: Age of Ultron

My favorite of Titan Hero figures, the Hulkbuster from AoU is especially great. It stands an inch taller than all Titan Hero Series figures at 13″, and has a unique jackhammer-punch-mechanism on one arm.

Ultron is very rare and one of the most difficult to find. Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor (all reviewed on this website) is relatively easier to obtain but still difficult.

Captain America: Civil War

Captain America, Falcon, Iron Man, and War Machine are the four figures in this series that can interact with each other. Like all the figures here, the hype for the movie has passed and merchandise no longer in production, so these are rare.

Guardians of the Galaxy

The following 3 are rare:

• Drax – only included in a discontinued set
• Gamora
• Groot (classic version with extendable legs)

Spidey’s Foes

Spider-man’s villain’s are the rarest of the rare Titan Hero Series figures, and can only be found in discontinued collections:

• Electro, with translucent blue skin
• Shocker
• Superior Venom
• Anti Venom

Avengers

• Vision – classic look with yellow cape
• Dr Strange – including the detachable Cloak of Levitation, which can be put on other figures!
• Black Panther, with 3 accessories (armor, and claw attachments – also compatible with most Titan Hero Series figures)
• Quicksilver – only comes in a discontinued set
• Iron Man, Mk II – all silver – only included in discontinued set
• Iron Man, Stealth-Strike – all blue – only included in discontinued set

Loki’s always been one for mischief – Thor, 39:01

Loki, true to his name, was previously one of the most tricky figures to get. Thankfully Hasbro has recently re-released this figure, but it’s still rare to see him in the shops. You should be able to find him online easily for now…
