Titan Hero Series Marvel action figures are perfect for toddlers around 4 years old: robust, colorful, and easy-to-clean. They are huge at 12-inches/30 cm, which make them twice as tall as the common 6-inch figures, so the kids love them!
If you do not have any of these figures yet, you can start by getting 1 or 2 standalone figures. In the unlikely situation your kids don’t like them, your wallet won’t be hit too hard. Look out for the comic book or non-latest-movie figures too because they are often set at a lower price.
When you know you want more figures, I highly suggest buying Titan Hero Series Collection boxsets. They are the best value for money and often contain a rare figure or accessory too.

Alternatives to Marvel Titan Hero Series
Marvel have many other series of figures available. Most notably the Legend series are great, but due to the delicate and small pieces and 6″ size, these are not suitable for toddlers. I’m a fan of these figures too, but the kid-unfriendly small pieces mean it’s going to be many more years before I can bring these out.

If you have a slightly older child into superheroes, the Legend series is really good fun – there are some ‘Build-A-Figure’ sets, where each individual figure comes with a part of a completely separate figure, and if you collect all figures in the set, you can combine the ‘extras’ together for a new figure. Look, this set can make a giant Hulkbuster!
All the popular movie characters are available in the Legend series, but (another great thing) is there are also lots of non-movie/non-mainstream characters. Beta Ray Bill, Union Jack, Living Laser, … so many!
